An on-site activity center provides a weekly program of special events and supplies water-sports equipment. Many activities are offered for children, and in-room child care can also be arranged. Food and drinks at Sea Shell Point restaurant are served indoors and out, or guests can use one of the several barbecues located throughout the resort.

The Kona Coast Resort consists of 30 two- and three-story condo buildings set amid 21 acres of gardens. All villas have air conditioning, windows that open, and private, furnished lanais. Full kitchens include refrigerators, stoves/ovens, microwaves, coffeemakers, dishwashers, dishes, and cookware. Washers and dryers are provided in every unit.
